Signing off...

Hey everyone. Praise God, the thing in my neck was not cancer, just my calcified twin. Just kidding. Who knows what it was, but the Doctor said it was benign and about the size of a marble. Because it only ended up being a partial thyroidectomy, I got to go home the day of surgery. It hurt real bad that first day, but the second day (today) is much better. I feel good. I just want to day thank you to everyone prayers and kind words. Thank you especially to Jay and Ashley. You guys are awesome. So now I just have to recover before 4th semester :) Shouldnt be a problem.

This will probably be my last post until fourth starts again and I begin to post the lectures and stuff. If there is anything I can do for anyone, let me know. We are almost there folks! Lots of love to everyone. God bless you all.

Last Peds Lecture Posted.

The last Peds lecture is posted, the filename is Peds12. It contains the test review lecture we had. Should be good to listen to.

What a crazy semester. I think I got some health problems out of this one. I'm glad it's almost done... I just have to stay focused for a little while longer to make it through finals. I plan on running this blog next semester as well. I hope to get all the lectures. Laters.

OMG Its new audio.

Hey everyone. It is time once again for the obligatory post about the new audio I just uploaded. Peds 11, and Medsurg 9. Good times.

Man I hope I do good on this next Peds test. I'm sure we all want to be riding as high as we can going into the final. Scary stuff.

Comment if you have any questions... Later!

More Audio? (My titles are getting redundant...)

Hey everyone! Its Wednesday and I finally have time to get the new lecture audio up. In the link you will find the last peds lecture (after the test) and the latest MedSurg lecture, which relates to the test on Monday. Personally, I have a ton of studying to do.

Just out of cure curiosity, does anyone remember what the recommended study hours were at the beggining of the program? You know, what we needed to do to be successful? Between work, careplans, class, lab hours, 201 hours, and sleep, I doubt I'm on par there. Oh well, what can you do?

So the last Peds test. Ouch. Personally, I can't seem to find any consistency with my scores. High, low, high low... it's an emotional roller coaster (for me anyhow). Hope I do better on the next one.

Work hard everyone, we can do it.

More New Audio files...

Hey everyone. I am loading the new audio for the last Med Surg lecture as well as the Peds lecture. Hope it helps everyone.

On another note, I can not believe how fast this semester is flying by. It's already just about November, only a little over a month until finals. Crazy. Then here comes fourth semester... even crazier. It will be interesting how the new curriculum goes with geriatrics in fourth. I wonder where the clinical sites will be? Anyone excited? I can't wait.

Study hard everyone.

For bonus points, see if you can guess who it is in the picture... Happy Halloween!

(Small update, be sure to notice that on the page with all the audio files that there is now 2 pages of them on MediaFire... The latest Peds lecture is on page 2)

(Smaller update: The answer to who I am dressed as is in the comments...)

New Lecture Audio!

Hey everyone! I hope you all did alright on this last peds test, I did ok. Congrats to everyone who pulled out A's, good job! Wow this semester is flying by. I just got my peds community service done, now all I have left is Medsurg's. Shouldn't be to hard, I just need to find the time to actually go give blood. Finding time for anything at all would be nice right now...

I did try "Mead" for the first time, its a wine made with honey. Very good. Especially served warm with spice. Tastes like a sweet cider. Im definetly going to pick some up for the cold winter nights. It will be awesome at christmas too. Thanks for the recommendation (you know who you are). Btw, if anyone has any questions or comments about the lectures or things I could do with this space, be sure to post in the comments. You don't need a login so go right ahead. Laters everyone. Stay strong. Stay steady.
